Lunes: Traditions!
Jan. 29th, 2018 11:58 amHello, everyone. I’m
little_huntress and I'll be your host this week, Today's theme is TRADITIONS. Prompts can be anything about traditions, things your characters like to do or have started 😊
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ MCU, Bruce Banner/Tony Stark, they always celebrate the day they first met.
+ Any, Any, friday game night.
+ Shadowhunters/TMI, Alec Lightwood/Magnus Bane, They've started to read to their kids at night,
We use AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2018 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 1 (not very current), Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 2, or the Calendar Archives, or for more recent prompts, you can use LJ's advanced search options to find prompts to request and/or fill.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheets and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Date: 2018-01-30 03:48 am (UTC)Torchwood (post-canon), Anwen Williams + Mica Davies
Date: 2018-02-04 11:35 pm (UTC)She didn’t, though. Not a step.
Whatever it was, as strange as it was, it was injured. It cowered behind an empty bicycle rack, the nearest streetlight catching on scales and black blood and yellow-orange eyes. “Hello?” she called, and it answered with a hiss, revealing a flash of sharp teeth. “Well… shit.” Now was an even better time to run, but it wasn’t actually coming after her and it was obviously injured and she was a med student after all, and, well --
There was a noise, sharp and loud enough to make her flinch, even when the thing’s teeth hadn’t. By the time it registered that the sound had, in fact, been a gunshot, the woman who had fired past her was pushing by and shoving a revolver into her holster. Maybe plain-clothed law enforcement, maybe not, but Anwen was startled enough to demand, “What was that? Why would you -- why did you do that? It was hurt!”
“I know. I’m the one who hurt it.” A sharp voice, a thick accent. She gave the body a good shove with her boot, and it sprawled, limp and monstrous, four blank eyes staring up at her accusingly. “Bloody thing nearly had me back there.” She spun on Anwen, taller and older and angrier, and demanded, “Exactly who are you? And what the hell did you think you were doing? Were you -- wait, were you going to help it?” The realization dawned across her face -- bafflement, incredulousness, even a touch of humor. “Who are you?”
“Anwen Williams. I’m a doctor. Almost.” God, she would be happy to be rid of that disclaimer. It really put a damper on her authority, and it especially pricked when her temper was up. Maybe she hadn’t learned caution from her mother, but she’d inherited her hot-headedness, sure enough. “And who exactly are you? What gives you the right to -- to have done that?”
“My name is Mica Davies,” the woman responded, with an eye roll that showed exactly how often she had to explain herself and how little she must care for it every time. “Mica Davies, Torchwood Five.”
