Hello, everyone. I’m
squidgiepdx and today's theme has a little bit to do with hospital-like settings. Prompts can be pretty much anything, though hospitals and/or healthcare settings are the mandatory thing here. Maybe Steve McGarrett ran into a crazy situation, guns a blazing, and when Danno followed him in, he tripped, so he's being treated for a sprained ankle. Maybe Finn and Poe ended up in a sex pollen field and are taken to the infirmary - but won't stop making out so they can get treated. Or maybe it's an AU, where Sherlock became a doctor, and Detective Inspector John Watson was brought into his emergency room for treatment. Whatever you can think of, if you can drop your characters into a hospital like setting, go for it!
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ Stargate Atlantis, Evan Lorne/David Parrish, Evan is pacing the floor of the infirmary while David gets checked out
+ Warehouse 13/Brooklyn 99, Claudia Donovan/Rosa Diaz, An AU where Rosa is a doctor and Claudia & Jinks are chasing down an artifact in an emergency room
+ Hawaii Five-0, Steve McGarrett/Danny Williams, Steve has to distract Danny when Charlie goes into the hospital for a minor procedure
We use AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2018 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 1 (not very current), Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 2, or the Calendar Archives, or for more recent prompts, you can use LJ's advanced search options to find prompts to request and/or fill.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheets and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

"Wait, you're going to bandage it with duct tape?! Are you kidding? There's a perfectly good first aid kit right over there!."
"I have work to do. This isn't going to fall off while I'm trying to finish up."
"I swear, if you don't let me treat that properly, I'm going to tell Aunt Mathilda on you!"
"Okay, okay. Trixie, you worry too much. But, thanks."

Date: 2018-05-10 01:28 am (UTC)Also? I’ve used duct tape for first aid. It’s good for applications where puny little bandaids get sweated off an hour later. (Jupe is right—again!)
