Tuesday: is for Crack(ships!)
Jun. 19th, 2018 09:08 amHello, everyone. I’m
untldeathtakeme, your still a bit nervous and less-virginal host. Today's theme is crack!ships, those crazy ships that should never work, or seem borne of a fever dream. Crazy crossover ships are a personal favorite of mine, but prompt ships don't have to be crossovers. Crackship's less crazy cousin, the rarepair, is also welcome today!
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+Doctor Who/BBC Sherlock, The Doctor (Any NewWho)+/Mycroft Holmes, "You shouldn't be here."
+BBC Sherlock/Star Trek (AOS), Molly Hooper/James Kirk,
A marvel of modern science
She's a natural born pioneer
I can't make up my mind,
Should I put her on display or hide her? (The Killers)
+Marvel Cinematic Universe, Sif/Steve Rogers, she's not afraid to tell him what she likes.
*I stole this ship from a prompt I filled once I love the idea so much though
+The Thick of It/Elementary, Malcolm Tucker/Jamie Moriarty, power struggles can be deadly.
We use AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2018 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 1 (not very current), Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 2, or the Calendar Archives, or for more recent prompts, you can use LJ's advanced search options to find prompts to request and/or fill.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheets and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Date: 2018-06-20 12:26 am (UTC)“You’re so good,” Elizabeth whispered. “If I didn’t know better, I’d think I was dreaming. You’re almost too good to be true.” She blushed and lowered her eyes from the girl she’s just recently rescued. “I know it’s cliche,” she murmured, “but it’s true.”
“And?” Wendy asked, knowing that was not the end of her story. She’d told plenty enough stories in her time already to know when a tale was done and when it was not.
“And everything good and beautiful never lasts in my life.”
Wendy squeezed her hand gently. “Well, I would like to last,” she said, “and I’ve been known to be quite determined.”
“What were you doing out here at sea any way?” Elizabeth whispered. It’s not the first time she’s asked the question, but every time she has, such emotions have passed over Wendy’s lovely face that she hasn’t prodded the issue. “I mean, I used to dream of pretty dresses and Pirate ships when I was a girl, but I’m the only one I’ve ever known who did.”
“You’re not the only one,” Wendy whispered quickly.
“I’m beginning to understand that,” Elizabeth responded, a quick smile chasing over her face, “but there’s more to your story than that. Won’t you tell me?” she asked, tugging on her hand.
Wendy rolled closer to her. Elizabeth wrapped her arms around her, but even her strong arms around her still could not make the aging woman feel safe. “There is a story,” she whispered admittingly. “It is a good story and a true story but a terrifying story, and I hesitate to speak it.”
“I’d love to hear it,” Elizabeth said, “and I doubt you can scare me. I’ve fought everything from mermaids to the undead in these waters.”
“This thing . . . “ Wendy let herself shudder as she remembered the creature with whom she had fallen in love. “He’s worse, far worse, than anything of that sort.”
“Really? My first husband died, and when he came back to life, he was in love with the Pirate Captain who taught me how to sail. I thought I’d end up with one or the other of them, but neither proved to be what I thought they were. Was his type of evil something like that?”
“Oh, no, not at all. Love isn’t evil, Captain Swann -- “
“Call me Elizabeth,” she whispered.
Wendy slowly raised her eyes to gaze up into Elizabeth’s. Their gaze locked and held as she spoke fervently, “Love is never evil. It may not always be what we think it is, but it is never evil. Sometimes, however, under certain circumstances, we can be made to feel things that we think are love but are actually . . . spells of a type.”
“This thing, did he enspell you?”
“Yes, for a very long time. I lost my brothers to him. I lost my family to him. I lost my world to him.”
“And he is the reason why you were in the waters thrashing about without any sign of a ship when we found you?”
“Yes. I had managed to steal some pixie dust and was trying to find my way home. He found me and thought to drown me. To be honest, I’m surprised he wasn’t still there, crowing as he made certain I died.”
Re: Fill 2/2
Date: 2018-06-20 12:27 am (UTC)“Oh no! You mustn’t fight him! No adult ever wins against the -- “ She stopped herself barely from saying his name. “ -- against that creature! No adult ever will.”
“You can not expect me to let you go without a fight,” Elizabeth declared, “for I certainly will not!”
“I pray he does not find me, my Captain. If he does, before we even know he is here, the crew will be slaughtered, and you and I will be next.”
Elizabeth lifted Wendy’s hand and carried it down to the sword she still wore strapped to her leg even as this late hour. She never took it off; she never even slept or bathed without it, not after everything that had happened with Will, Norrington, Jack, and Barbossa. She would never be caught defenseless again. “Perhaps it’s time I teach you how to fight,” she said as she slided Wendy’s hand slowly down the shining, steel blade.
“You are not listening to me!” Wendy cried instead, starting to pull away. “No adult can win against him!”
Elizabeth caught her hand and brought her back to her. Gazing into her eyes, she told her sternly, “There is a way to win against every enemy. We will find how to beat yours if he ever shows.”
“Oh, I pray he does not!”
“Shush,” Elizabeth whispered softly as she kissed Wendy’s forehead. “Let us not allow such horrible men to steal the quality of our time together.”
It was Wendy who blushed lightly this time. Elizabeth leaned her forehead against hers and gazed steadfastly into her eyes as she told her, “I have never experienced what I felt with you in the last few days with any other, man or woman, Wendy Darling. I would like to keep you at my side forever, or at least as long as I shall live.”
She felt another shiver pass through her and tightened her grip around her. One day, she would learn to trust her. One day, she would learn she was safe again, and this creature, whatever it was, if he followed her would be slain the moment he appeared. Elizabeth would see to it just as she had stopped so many other evils throughout her years of being the Pirate Queen. Leadership was not all jolly benefits. It held certain responsibilities too, and this thing could not be allowed to live as long as he terrorized women so, especially as long as he terrorized Wendy.
“That is the first time,” Wendy breathed shakily, “that forever has sounded beautiful, but I fear it is rather hopeless, my Queen.”
“Nothing is hopeless, Wendy. If I teach you nothing else, I will teach you that. There is always hope.” She kissed her and began to caress her back, her skillful hands steadily gliding lower. “For now, let us see if we can not release some of your tension, shall we?” She didn’t give Wendy a chance to answer this time. She kissed her, caressed her, and made slow, intimate love to her.
When she was finished with this girl, she would be hers forever, and she would never again remember the terror that that man had evoked in her. His hold over her would be gone much as Jack’s and Will’s hold over Elizabeth had long ago been shattered. She smiled as she turned her onto her back, never once letting up with her passionate kisses. She at last had her Pirate Princess in this one, and she was never going to let her go.
The End

Date: 2018-06-20 03:59 am (UTC)He had never expected to fall for Moody of all people. However, the longer he had to be with him, the more he understood the man and the reason for his tense alert demeanor.
"Constant Vigilance!" the man yelled as he grabbed Harry's arse as he passed.
He really is sane. However, he is not sure how long he would remain that way.

I'm freaking out so bad! Thank you so much for this! I honestly had no idea what to expect if someone filled this. This is amazing! (and strangely in character for them)
