Hello, everyone. I’m emmatheslayer and today's theme is toys Prompts can be and all kinds of toys, games, sex toys, toys, tools the possibilities are endless


Just a few rules:

No more than five prompts in a row.

No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.

If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.

Cheddar’s collection of toys is as colorful as it is extensive. A red and blue rope with multiple knots, a green and white fabric frisbee, a stuffed pink bear from Valentine’s Day for cuddling, a rather unrealistic teal giraffe with sea-foam green spots whose neck crinkles when bitten that mildly irks Raymond with both its sound and implausibility, an orange rubber bone, a yellow squeaky duck, and a single purple ball. There are no multiples of any toy and all are in pristine condition as, despite Raymond and Kevin’s earnest attempts to entice him, Cheddar refuses to play with or even acknowledge the existence of any of them.

One day as he sits on the back porch reading a book while Cheddar trots about the backyard sniffing at the grass and trees, Raymond is jolted from his thoughts by the sound of something hard clattering on the deck next to his feet. He looks down to see Cheddar looking up at him expectantly, a slobbery stick laying at his feet.

“Yes, Cheddar. What is it?” he asks, uncertain as to what it is that Cheddar could possibly want to tell him about this rather unremarkable stick.

Cheddar lets out a sharp bark and runs a tiny circle around himself. Raymond furrows his brow, puzzled. Cheddar barks again, picks up the stick, runs a wide circle around the yard, then returns to the deck and drops the stick at Raymond’s feet once more. A long pause stretches before the two as they stare at each other intently.

“You cannot possibly wish for me to throw this stick, do you, Cheddar?” Raymond asks uncertainly, caught rather off guard by even the mere possibility.

Cheddar barks and wags his tail.

Raymond blinks at him a handful a times, then cautiously turns his head left to right, eyes sweeping for any possible witnesses. Finding none, he reaches down and slowly holds up the proffered stick.

Cheddar barks twice and jumps with his front two legs excitedly.

Carefully observing Cheddar, Raymond tosses the stick across the yard, watching in amazement as Cheddar takes off in a flash, retrieves the stick, and brings it back, once again dumping it at Raymond’s feet. He sits back, tail wagging, looking expectantly at Raymond.

“Oh my,” Raymond proclaims, still thoroughly shocked by this turn of events. Cheddar barks happily, so Raymond bends down to once again pick up the stick, but before straightening looks Cheddar dead in the eye and says, “Don’t tell Kevin.”
