Friday: Aether
Oct. 19th, 2018 01:39 amHello, everyone. I’m
ami_ven and today's theme is aether. Prompts can be anything related to aether – for more information on this classical element, check out the wiki page
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ Stargate Atlantis, John Sheppard/Rodney McKay, Rodney is the inventor of a new aether-engine and John is the soldier assigned to protect him
+ Any, any, disappearing into the aether
+ MCU/Agents of SHIELD, team, coming back from the dead gave Coulson the ability to see things in the aether
We use AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2018 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 1 (not very current), Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 2, or the Calendar Archives, or for more recent prompts, you can use LJ's advanced search options to find prompts to request and/or fill.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheets and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Date: 2018-10-19 04:21 pm (UTC)FILL: SPN< Dean/Cas
Date: 2019-12-26 03:34 pm (UTC)Spread out on the cold ground, Dean’s heart beats in a soft little plead for comfort. The angel comes to him, cradles his trembling body, a little soft kiss to soothe the agony that burns like hell fire within his shattered soul. Life hurts. It is full of pain and sorrow and the suffering is suffocating. Dean woke from his grave, the ground around it scorched.
From afar, Castiel watched as Dean took little breath that felt like a daunting task that overwhelms him. The angel spoke to him in an abandoned rest stop, but the hunter did not hear his true voice. The windows shattered and the ground shook, but Dean heard not his true speech.
Silence is all Dean hears, aside from the loud church bells ringing in his ears. Perplexed, Castiel departs. He was foolish to think this human, the Holy Righteous Man, can receive his Heavenly Host.
