Monday: Pick A Word Count

My preferred way of starting off a week of hosting is with a word count theme, and this go-round is no different. However, a bit of a twist this time – the prompter gets to Pick a Word Count!
Anything goes, as long as your prompt includes some kind of word count for the fill.
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]

Pepper.
Pepper, who had a CEO job and a million emails in her inbox, had found the time to meticulously glue her teacup back together.
The cracks were still visible, but small, beautiful in their own way, thin white lines wandering around the red floral print.
It had been broken the night someone shot up Natasha's apartment. Natasha had blamed Pepper, claimed that she had never been so careless about being tailed home until Pepper came along.
"It's okay, I'm safe," Pepper had responded firmly.
Natasha had walked away, started ignoring her calls.
Now, looking at the teacup, whole again, Natasha felt a tightness low in her chest. Somehow, though, she smiled.

He gazes out the window, poisoned clouds behind generations of graffiti. The only sky his son will know. Aaron wants more for him. He yearns for Michael to have what he didn't – to see him grow up on solid ground under a blue sky with sunlight warm on his face.
Even a miracle wouldn't clean Earth's atmosphere in Michael's lifetime. So Aaron paints fluffy clouds on the nursery's walls and prays the rest of his dreams for his son come true.

“Fingers.”
Harry put his free hand within her reach.
“I don’t have any black varnish, only pink.”
“That’s fine.” Harry went back to his book.
“It’s got glitter in it.” Zayn shook the bottle under his nose.
“Even better.”
Zayn sat back on the couch, crossed her arms over her chest.
“What?” Harry said.
“You’re a total badass, you know.”
Harry shrugged.
