100 Words Drabble Monday
Oct. 29th, 2018 09:42 amHi-ho, everyone. I’m
classics_lover and today's theme is Drabbles. Prompts can be anything but fills must be 100 words exactly. This is the old school type of drabble! Have fun!
ETA 100 words not 10! D'oh!
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ MCU, Tony Stark/Stephen Strange, debating whether it's science or magic
+ Frasier, author's choice, "We can't name a new dog Eddie!"
+ Lucifer, Lucifer Morningstar/Chloe Decker, bickering
We use AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2018 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 1 (not very current), Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 2, or the Calendar Archives, or for more recent prompts, you can use LJ's advanced search options to find prompts to request and/or fill.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheets and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Date: 2018-10-30 07:17 pm (UTC)“At least don’t wrestle on the furniture,” he muttered, sweeping pass them. He heard a triplet of heavy Thuds and glanced back to see the dogs now literally on top of Clark in the floor. His husband’s head was thrown back, and his whole body shook with his laughter. Lex sighed yet again. At least if Clark was going to bring home strays, it was dogs and not humans.
Or cows, he thought, considering Clark’s farm childhood. Or ducks. He remembered the one time Superman had stopped traffic to make certain a duck mother and her brood were able to get safely back to the Metropolis docks. Yes, it could have been a lot worse, he acknowledged. He’d just thank his lucky stars and stay stuck with the Bernard mixes.
The End

“Well, if it’s all safely cooking itself, you have nothing to do but come and sit beside me.” Mycroft swept the newspaper onto the floor and patted the sofa.
Greg did as Mycroft suggested, and as Mycroft massaged his shoulders he almost began to purr.
