Dydd Llun - Weather
Nov. 19th, 2018 05:00 amGood morning! I’m
evil_little_dog, your host for the week. Today's theme is weather. Prompts can be anything to do with the weather, from songs about it to missing it because you're in a space station to using weather to describe other things.
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ Frasier, Frasier Crane+Eddie(+any), "It's literally raining cats and dogs out there!"
+ MCU, Tony Stark+/Pepper Potts, Stormy eyes
+ The Last Unicorn, Schmendrick+Molly Grue+the unicorn, It's difficult to get lost when in the company of a unicorn, even in a dense fog.
+ Lucifer, Chloe Decker+/Lucifer Morningstar, Heavy rains in L.A. come with consequences
+ Star Trek TOS, Christine Chapel+Any, Sometimes, she misses the scents carried on a breeze before a storm
We use AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2018 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 1 (not very current), Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 2, or the Calendar Archives, or for more recent prompts, you can use LJ's advanced search options to find prompts to request and/or fill.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheets and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Date: 2019-06-28 11:29 pm (UTC)Bucky came up behind him, wrapped his arms around Steve's shoulders and held Steve to his bare chest. "You should stay away from the window. There's a draft."
Bucky always worried about his health. Normally, Steve would chafe at it, but today he leaned back into the heat of Bucky's body, letting his head drape lazily to the side as he gazed down at the sidewalks, the fire hydrants, the cars, all nearly unrecognizable in the snow.
"It's not so bad, being snowed in," Steve said with a shrug.
Buck grinned, curled his neck to kiss Steve on the cheek. "You're right. Now come back to bed."

But I'm stuck in colder weather
Maybe tomorrow will be better
Can I call you then

Date: 2018-11-20 12:14 am (UTC)"Me? Why me?"
"Baby, it'll be fine," Alec said. He petted her hair - at least until she rolled away from him, fetching up against Eliot. She glared at him, sitting up and hitching herself down to the foot of the bed.
"It's not going to be fine." Parker folded her arms. "I don't know anything about the weather!"
"It's all teleprompters anyway - you just have to read the screen." Alec kept his voice low and soothing, like he might for a wild animal.
Eliot, on the other hand, sound as brusque as normal. "C'mon, Parker, you've got this."
"Why can't you do it?" She switched her gaze between the two of them.
"Ah, well." Alec hoped his eyes hadn't widened at the idea. "You're prettier! And you know Eliot'd scare people."
"He's right." Eliot nodded. "It's gotta be you, Parker." He pushed up on his elbow. "You know Nate thought you could do anything you put your mind to - so does Sophie. You'll look good in front of the camera. And Hardison'll be there behind making sure you do what you need to."
"And Eliot'll be out cracking heads." Alec gestured across the bed at him.
Parker narrowed her eyes at both of them but it wasn't enough to scare them into letting her off the hook. "All right!" She threw her hands in the air. "All right, I'll be the weather girl. But next time, one of you has to go in front of the camera."
They exchanged a quick look. "Of course," Alec said. Eliot nodded his agreement - that here wouldn't be a next time if either of them had anything to do with it.
