evil_little_dog, continuing my hosting duties this week. Today's theme is cooking and any prompt should include something to do with cooking, including the utensils used, ingredients, recipes, eating, and the like!
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]

+ Burn Notice, Fiona Glenanne+/Michael Westin, Egg white omelette and blueberry yogurt
+ Doctor Who, Any Doctor+Any Companion, S/He cooks a traditional holiday meal for the Doctor
+ Peter Pan, Wendy Darling+Any, Cooking in Neverland is very different than the lessons she had back home.
+ Lucifer, Lucifer Morningstar+/Chloe Decker+Trixie Decker, Popping corn on the stovetop is the least of his skills.
+ MCU, Natasha Romanoff+/Clint Barton, Knowing how to cook over a fire can be a necessity

Lucas waved his arm frantically, and Adam came to sit next to him on the sofa.
“Ah, I see,” Adam whispered. “Would you like ...”
He got no further, Lucas leaning forward and practically knocking him off the sofa, before throwing his arms in the air and shouting “Yes!”
Adam waited patiently whilst the credits rolled and Lucas took a couple of deep breaths, then said, “Beer, wine, or coffee?”
“Oh, wine, please. Did you see that? Wasn’t it perfect?”
“It was a cake.”
“It was a chocolate explosion.”

Date: 2018-11-23 05:02 am (UTC)Evan slid off the bed and padded into the bathroom, wetted down a couple of washcloths so they could clean up, then returned. “From you, that’s quite the compliment. I know how much you love chocolate.”
“Well, my lifetime has a lot better track record with chocolate than with love,” Rodney muttered. He accepted a washcloth and cleaned himself off, then set it on the nightstand on his side of Evan’s bed.
Evan finished cleaning himself off, then crawled into the bed, drew the covers up over their cooling bodies, and snuggled in close. “Then it’s a good thing you have me. I love you, and I’ll make you chocolate.”
“You can make chocolate? How?”
“I’m pretty sure it’s easier than just about anything you do on a daily basis for work,” Evan said, amused.
“What kind of chocolate can you make?”
“What kind of chocolate do you want?”
“Can you make something with...caffeine? Lots of caffeine. I mean, chocolate has some amount of caffeine.”
Evan chuckled. “Sure. I’ll do that. Just for you.”
A couple nights later, in the chow line, the KP Marines handed John a little plate with a square of thick, gooey, heavily-frosted brownie on it.
“And that’s how you know the Daedalus just stopped by,” John said, and dipped his finger in the frosting, scooped it up with relish.
Because he was Colonel Oblivious, he missed the way just about every female in a five-foot radius and about a tenth of the men stared at him while he sucked on his finger, humming happily.
Rodney turned to the KP Marines, eager for some brownie, and was confused when instead they handed him a little plate of what looked like...brown meringue cookies. “What are these?” he asked, because usually meringue came with lemon.
“Chocolate espresso swirls,” the Marine said. “Just for you, Doc.”
“Just for him?” John asked.
“The Major insisted,” the Marine said, her expression carefully neutral.
Rodney scooped one up, bit into it. Shivered from head to toe. “Thanks, Marine,” he said. To John, he said, “I’m gonna go eat in my quarters. Later.”
He did end up eating in his quarters much, much later, after he’d summoned Evan on the radio to thank him.
Thoroughly.
