Tuesday | New Year, New Drabbles

Happy New Year! :D Did you wake up early to watch the first sunrise of 2019, or did you stay up well past midnight? (Or maybe you passed out early and woke up late...?) No matter how you spent the first few hours of this year, I hope you're up for some prompting and writing. ^_^

✎ Today's theme: drabbles (any multiple of 100 words). Prompts can be about anything your heart desires, but fills must have exact word counts in multiples of 100.

A few rules to keep in mind:

✦ No more than five prompts in a row per day
✦ No more than three prompts in the same fandom per day
✦ If one or more of your prompts is filled today, then you may prompt again
✦ Use the full names of the fandom(s) and character(s) in your prompts
✦ For prompts, no spoilers until one month after the release date (use a spoiler tag to hide part or all of the text)
✦ For fills, warn for spoilers, and either leave blank space before the text or hide the text under a spoiler tag
✦ Include a warning in the subject line for any possible triggers

Please remember to use the proper format for prompts.

Again, please include the full names of the fandom(s) and character(s). This makes it easier to add prompts to the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet and to find prompts through manual search.

Examples:

For a single fandom:
✧ The Hobbit/The Lord of the Rings series, any+any or any/any, a small gift given on a sudden (but no less sincere) impulse
✧ any Gundam series, any pilot(s), general maintenance or minor repairs to their mobile suit
✧ author's choice, any, confetti flies everywhere when they turn the ceiling fan on for the first time that year

For multiple fandoms / crossovers:
✧ Eureka/The Good Place, Jack Carter/Nathan Stark (+ Michael + Janet), (AU: Jack and Zoe never went to Eureka) they're soulmates

While the above are available options, the simplest method might be to bookmark prompts that you like as you find them and return later when inspiration strikes. (There are no rules against multiple fills for the same prompt, by the way. ~_^)

FILL: Mad Max; Fury Road, max/furiosa

The world was once fire and blood. Pain and death. Suffocating, she choked on the ash of the burnt world. Now, on top of the world, safe and calmed by the gentle rain, she smiles. Cannot remember the last time her heart was pure.

Now, the cool rain is welcomed, a storm on the horizon, a hush in the air that is peaceful. Green as far as the eye can see, it nearly breaks her soul that the world was once too burnt for life to take hold.

He remains by her side, embraces her in such softness she nearly cries. He is warm, his arms gentle like no man before him ever was. He embraces and hugs her close, kissing her cheek and leaving a tingle of bliss under her skin. She lets the feral near her not out of fear, but trust.

He calms her, breathes life into her once dark soul. She takes comfort in his little grunts and groans as the raindrops kiss his cheek. The world is new, green and alive, and when he sighs softly, nuzzling her cheek like a puppy, she smiles for the first time in a lifetime.

Omg this is sweet beyond words <3 though I liked it in the movie they didn't couple Max and Furiosa up, I totally enjoyed reading about them in this way :)

Thank you! I liked them as an OTP, but then again, I like Tom Hardy pared with just about anyone. Hugs!
