No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and
fandom's full name]

We use AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic
from 2019 collection
. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 1 (not very current), Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 2, or the Calendar Archives, or for more
recent prompts, you can use LJ's advanced search options to find prompts to request and/or fill.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheets and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the
links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Any any, A long way to go and a short time to get there.

(One Smokey and the Bandit inspired fic coming up.)

"I'm east bound and down loaded up and trucking. I've got a long way to go and short time to get there," Jimmy sang as he paced around their hotel room.

Desmond normally told him to shut up or sing something non-country, but today he decided to play along. He picked up his guitar and strummed the opening chords to one of his favorite trucking songs.

Jimmy stopped singing and his pacing. With a knowing smile, he settled down on the bed next to his lover and said, "Didn't know you knew that song."

"Oh, I'm full of surprises," Desmond drawled. "Now, you want to continue?"

"Certainly," Jimmy replied and then launched into the Jerry Reed standard, East Bound and Down.

Yay! Thank you. I kinda dated myself...lol

I tortured my dogs singing the song while writing the fic.

To quote my husband's response every time I say something similar, "I heard it in a movie."

Cute fill though, I like that there are some things that are universal, no matter what genre you listen to. :)

Thanks. I had to Google it to make certain I was right, because I was telling Daisy that it was from a song.

For her the night went downhill when I found it on You-tube....lol

I know what you mean. You hear something and you think you know, but have no idea if you REALLY know or not. :)

Hah, poor pup.

Yup.

She survived. She just prefers rock over old-time country, although she perked up a bit when she heard Toby Keith's How Do You Like Me Now.

Not sure the animals I live with have a preference. They get hit with a bit of everything these days :D

Hah, one of my favorite Toby songs for sure. :)

AU where Steve and Tony meet other thems

Date: 2019-06-24 09:17 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] daria234.livejournal.com
AU where the Steve and Tony of every alternate timeline are in the same room.

"So where'd you two get married?"

"Brooklyn. How about you two?"

"Tahiti!"

"We did Florida."

"BORING!" another Tony replied, which earned him an exasperated smile from his Steve. "We got married in a submarine!"

"We got married in space," another Tony bragged.

"We got married in Rome," another Steve said wistfully.

"How about you two?" they asked this timeline's Steve and Tony.

"Uhh, we're not married, actually," Tony said, looking at Steve.

"Yeah," Steve said, "We're not even together."

There was a long pause.

"Don't worry, my Steve and I broke up like 10 times before tying the knot!"

"It'll pass - in the meantime, think about where your wedding will be!"

Author's Choice, any character(s), first time traveling alone

Star Wars, Armitage Hux

Date: 2019-08-18 10:29 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] obiwanker.livejournal.com
Armitage Hux thinks he knows what it means to be alone in a ship.

Brendol's presence and absence have the same meaning to him: none. The others, thinking that he's in any way protected by his father, leave him be, though Sloane is the one who actually offers him any protection -- from Brendol.

This time, neither Brendol nor Sloane join him. He's graduated, starting his career, and he knows no one in the ship he's been assigned to.

In his situation, some might feel unease, fear. Armitage, however, has nothing to miss. Everything he has to fear is gone. The first day isn't one of bemoaning the life he's losing, but of hard work to welcome the newfound position that allows him to be alone. It's not loneliness, not to him, it's independence, freedom.

From now on, he doubts he'll ever want the company of someone he knows in a ship again.

When Beelzebub becomes a pillar of — oh, fuck, hellfire — Aziraphale knows he’s finished.

“Let’zzz zeee how well you rezzzist, Crawly.”

Back away, slowly — he can’t fight five, even in his true form.

Ligur’s twelve sets of teeth drip venom. The other demons manifest as an insect swarm, a rain of bluebottles and a house-sized crocodile.

No flaming sword, just an athame in his pocket, which’ll be like pissing into a firestorm.

He sends up a thought-prayer for Crowley, in case Someone, Somewhere, gives a rat’s tail.

I’m sorry, Crowley.

Morphing white cheetah, he runs for his life.

Good Omens, Aziraphale+Crowley, The Bentley should get terrible gas mileage.

One Careful Owner

Date: 2019-06-22 08:22 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] daegaer.livejournal.com
"Your car gets horrific mileage," Aziraphale said.

"It's done myriads of miles since 1926, what are you on about?" Crowley said, taking his eyes off the road and sniggering as Aziraphale shrieked.

"It cost £115 to fill up! It does barely five miles to the gallon! That's over six pounds every five miles; at your usual speeds that's about every three minutes!"

Crowley slammed on the brakes.

"You put petrol in my car? You put - let's be clear - unleaded petrol in my car?"

On the plus side, Aziraphale thought, as his jacket was tossed out after him, walking was free.
