Happy weekend, everyone! It's that time again - the Friday Free for All. That means all fandoms, pairings, and prompts are accepted.

All our usual rules apply, of course.

No more than 5 prompts in a row, and no more than 3 prompts per fandom. When someone answers your prompt, you can prompt again.

No spoilers in your prompts for at least one week after the original air/publication date. This is especially important now that shows are starting to come back from hiatus! If you have spoilers in the story, please warn in bold and leave at least 3 spaces.

Please remember to format your prompts appropriately. For example:

Firefly, Mal, in all these things we come undone

Burn Notice/Leverage, Mike/Tara, well that was entirely unexpected (... alright, maybe not)

So let's get things rolling! And don't forget, this weekend is one of our Lonely Prompt Challenges. Be sure to tune in. :)

Kaylee had paused when he had said it. It's a horrible feeling, saying the wrong name, the name of his asshole ex, and it made him feel embarrassed and guilty and idiotic all at once. But she ignored it, then, kept going, and Simon wondered if maybe Kaylee was forgiving enough to forget it ever happened. Surely she knew that he hadn't meant to hurt her, that it was just a momentary lapse.

She said nothing about it in the morning either.

The next night he entered Kaylee's room quietly. They were long past knocking.

When he saw Jayne in bed next to her, her hands trailing along Jayne's stomach as she whispered in his ear, Simon felt a wave of anger and jealousy and hurt. He swallowed it.

Kaylee had her right to her revenge.

He smiled, not sincerely, and said, "Am I interrupting?"

She smiled back. "No, we were just waiting for you."

Jayne added, "It's about damn time, too. Startin' to feel left out."

Simon sighed. This had the makings of a very large disaster. If he had any sense at all, he'd say no.

But then, sense had never been his strong point.
