Howdy! We’ve made it to Thursday, and I remain 4bdnsn0wflake, and today’s theme is Five Sentences. Prompts can be whatever you’d like, but fills should be five sentences in length or multiples thereof.

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.

Violence in the name of justice and at the behest of God was a thorny problem to attack. Would they be blessed and rewarded on high for their service? Would they be thrown into the deepest pits of Hell for the murders they had committed in the name of God? Did the ends justify the means in God's eyes or were the means all that mattered? The MacManus boys struggled with these and other questions in the deep of the night, but never let them be a distraction in cold light of another vengeance fueled day.

Some days he really didn't care, enjoying his own company without the least little regret, but others there was an icy splinter of pain that pierced his heart as surely as if he had been spitted on a spike and left to rot. He was no stranger to being alone, to missing the touch of lips against his or the feel of fingers on his skin. It was his choice after all, his decision to shut himself away from the loss that came with loving someone. He had promised himself that he would never take that risk again, never let himself be betrayed and made the fool.

So what did this young Lightwood think he was doing walking through Magnus' guards and protections like he was taking a leisurely stroll down a public street?

Mulder reluctantly changed the channel, "After all, there's another marathon next Friday - Scully, are you okay, what was that groan?"

“Happy holidays.” Ivy kissed Harley on the cheek.

“I got somethin’ for ya, too!” Harley reached into her pocket and pulled out a small box.

Ivy put one hand to her chest and took the box with the other.

She opened it carefully, unwrapping the tissue paper inside just so, to reveal -

A human tooth.

“Lost it inna fight two days ago.” Harley said proudly. “It’s a pretty one, huh?”

Ivy gently placed the box, tooth still on display, on her cocktail table.

"It's all right, Rollins," Carisi said, looking up at her from his seat with a grin, "I know it was you."

"Don't be so sure of yourself, Carisi," was all she said before turning on her heel to take her gift bag from Olivia back to her desk.

"With the way you've been talking about those books," Fin commented, already using his present from Amanda, "I definitely wouldn't have needed to ask Ken and Alejandro for their help."

"Oh, that reminds me, Fin," Olivia joined in, smiling softly as she finished carefully repackaging the gift Carisi had gotten for her, "Barba said to tell your 'shopping consultant' thank you."

His new (and gently used, considering its age) paperback nearly tumbling out of his hands, Carisi shot up from his chair, announced to the squad room at large, "I gotta make a phone call," and disappeared into the vacant break room.


(...And then he probably got worried about sounding like an idiot that Barba was busy and texted him instead. >:P)
