Howdy! We’ve made it to Thursday, and I remain 4bdnsn0wflake, and today’s theme is Five Sentences. Prompts can be whatever you’d like, but fills should be five sentences in length or multiples thereof.

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.

Pepper had eaten in the finest restaurants all over the world, and tasted every fancy confection the culinary masters had thought up.

Would they laugh or be horrified at her favorite decadent treat?

A chocolate cake out of a box with lots of frosting that came from a can.

Natasha was no expert baker, but the care and love she put into making the dessert?

That was the sweetest.

Some days he really didn't care, enjoying his own company without the least little regret, but others there was an icy splinter of pain that pierced his heart as surely as if he had been spitted on a spike and left to rot. He was no stranger to being alone, to missing the touch of lips against his or the feel of fingers on his skin. It was his choice after all, his decision to shut himself away from the loss that came with loving someone. He had promised himself that he would never take that risk again, never let himself be betrayed and made the fool.

So what did this young Lightwood think he was doing walking through Magnus' guards and protections like he was taking a leisurely stroll down a public street?

I can sympathize with Magnus, but I think Alec is going to be a whole lot of trouble to Magnus' will to resist.

When Steve was a young man, before he went into the ice had fallen hard for Peggy. She was a one in a million, as he liked to say, and he wanted to give her everything. He wanted to give her everything; happiness, a family, and a home to call her own in a peaceful world. How, though, things were different, he was a man out of time, in a world that had kept going without him. The only thing he wanted to give her was the one thing he couldn't, a chance for them to go back and grow old together.

In the face of such enthusiasm, she caved. The first hour was amusing, especially with Mulder's usually kibitzing but around the third, Scully was ready for something else - anything else.

Mulder reluctantly changed the channel, "After all, there's another marathon next Friday - Scully, are you okay, what was that groan?"

Oh man, this is just heartbreaking. I really feel for Steve (and Peggy) and you captured the clear regret that Steve has, in general, and especially over Peggy. Really good. I love the angst and you're very good at it. :D

Aww this is the cutest! Definitely something given with love is always better and I can see Pepper appreciating thoughtfulness over something expensive and meaningless.

On a side note, the image of Natasha baking made me giggle.
