Happy Tuesday. Today we're going to mess with wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey things - more precisely, time travel! Are you going back to the future? Falling through a hole in the space-time continuum? Or maybe just going to a historical reenactment?
Whichever it is, just remember the community rules: five prompts at a time; you're welcome to post more when those are answered (please be kind to the code monkeys and don't go too crazy), no spoilers in your prompts til a week after release, warn in bold and leave space if there's a spoiler in your fic itself, and please use this format for your prompts (the last is for crossovers):
Weiss Kreuz, Schuldig/Crawford, the ritual sends Schuldig 15 years back in time
Supernatural, Sam/Dean, a hunt takes them into the middle of Pennsic
Star Trek/Star Wars, author's choice, 'a long long time ago in a galaxy far far away' has less meaning than you'd think when it comes to wormholes, rifts, or Q
tag=timetravel

She had dark hair that was curly and everywhere (covering half the good stuff, in Dean's mind) and she just kept nuzzling into Sam's chest and wiggling against him.
Dean snorted, cause Sam's got a thing for brunettes.
"Uh...what the hell?" Is all Sam manages to gulp out.
"I found you. I found you. Took me forever to escape, but I found you."

Date: 2010-02-01 10:19 am (UTC)The crew had almost sent him out into space, when they found him. They'd been off world for a week, no way he could have hidden that long on a ship this small. But the girl had stopped them. She was young, barely 20, but they showed her deference. Sam couldn't understand what she said. At first.
She was the only one who really talked to him. The others didn't know what to make of him. He found he could help them on jobs, and fit in a little that way. But he couldn't shake that first impression
But River talked to him. And he started to understand her, the quick way her mind moved. He saw the grace in everything she did, every movement, every breath.
And one day alone in the hallway, he kissed her, pressing her narrow body against the wall. And to his surprise she kissed back, her mouth devouring his.
In his room they pulled off each other's clothes, kissing again and again. Then he was inside her, and while they didn't climax together, they were both more than satisfied.
At least until Simon started hammering on the door.

Date: 2010-01-27 07:53 am (UTC)A cyborg. Cameron, but not Cameron. From a different timeline.
She tells him that instead of a war there was diplomacy. She tells him that he was vital to the peace effort. She tells him that in the future, John Connor doesn't have to fight a war.
In his fantasy, Cameron comes back for him - not to protect him, just for him. Maybe he dies of some natural cause and Cameron misses him. Maybe she studies human history as her hobby. She does like it when people explain things. If cyborgs had historians, she would be the best.
His fantasy is interrupted by the sight of the real Cameron, checking the perimeter. He sighs as he realizes that if there's anything more messed up than loving a killer cyborg, it's resenting that killer cyborg for loving you for what you do, not who you are.

Date: 2010-04-02 02:48 pm (UTC)She looks at Sam from where she'd been peering out through the window of the Imapala, and Dean just seemed to ignore them.
"I adapted an intertime flux as a way of coping with strenuous exertions upon my person," she says, matter of factly as if she'd just said that today was Tuesday (which it was not).
"You what?"
"I time traveled to get away from torture."
"How long do you think you'll stay?" Sam has no idea why he's accepting this as truth, but since he's time travelled before, he's pretty sure she can do it too.
"It takes a lot of energy to pull me here, so I'll likely appear and disappear fairly often," she speaks as though to a child, and he's a little disgruntled, but doesn't bother to tell her.
"Why do you keep finding me? Us, I mean?" He covers. She's not here for him, she just keeps showing up in the Impala. Maybe she really likes the car.
"I'm drawn here," she says, "I think you're a black hole."

(you might recognize some of the dialogue from the episode. ~smile~ Hope you enjoyed it.)
John walked through the Stargate into the Gateroom to find it dark and empty. He called out but nobody answered him. He walked up the stairs to the control room and saw that there was nobody at the consoles.
John looked around nervously as he activated his headset radio. “This is Sheppard. Anyone there?”
Still no reply.
John frowned and walked across to the door which led to the balcony outside. He looked outside and stared in amazement. He stepped into the balcony in a daze, not believing what he saw. There were no ocean and the city was surrounded by sand dunes and some parts of the city were buried in the sand.
John walked slowly back into the control room in confusion. He wondered what happened and decided to walk up the stairs trying to find anyone. He tapped his headset radio again, calling out to anyone who can answer him.
After wandering in the corridors, he came to a corridor where Rodney McKay suddenly appeared in front of him.
John jumped. “God, you gave me a fright!”
Then John blinked and looked at Rodney. He was shocked to see that Rodney wasn’t the Rodney he knew. This Rodney looked like he was in his 70s. His face was wrinkled and his hair gray.
“Rodney! You…you look old…” John stared at the older Rodney.
“Yeah…I’m a hologram.” Rodney told him. John shook his head and looked at Rodney again.
“Hologram?”
“Yeah, I tapped into the city's internal sensors, so I've got eyes and ears – so to speak.” Rodney explained.
John reached out to poke Rodney’s chest, only to find his hand going through Rodney. “This is strange…but what happened? I saw you earlier today…and now I find myself here with you…what happened?”
Rodney sighed and started to explain. It emerged that John was sent into the future – forty eight thousands years into the future after a solar flare connected with the wormhole travel.
“So…you’re dead? And everyone else?” John asked. Rodney nodded.
John shook his head in confusion. He asked if Rodney had a plan.
“Of course! I didn’t just work on all this to come forty eight thousands years into the future, just to have a chat with you.” Rodney rolled his eyes. “Come on…let’s go…”
John followed Rodney as Rodney explained that John was going to be put in a stasis chamber and wait for another 700 years to use the Stargate at a correct address and a solar flare and John should be sent back into the past to the correct time.
John rubbed the bridge of his nose and tried to take it all in. He asked about Teyla. He found out that Teyla was the key to all this. John needed to go back in time, to save Teyla from Michael, before the baby was born. Because once Teyla had the baby, she was killed and Michael took the baby. He destroyed everything and was in control of the Pegasus Galaxy.
John nodded, beginning to realize the responsibility he had on his shoulders. He also found out that both Sam and Ronon were killed in the war against Michael and his army.
Finally, John and Rodney arrived at the statis chamber. John looked at Rodney, his heart tightened at the thought of not being at his side, to support him through everything which had happened.
“I’m sorry you had to go through it alone.” John said quietly.
Rodney smiled sadly. “That’s okay – not your fault.”
“What about you?” John asked. “What happened?”
“Oh, you don’t wanna hear that,” Rodney replied, but John persisted.
“Oh, alright…after you left, I just fell to pieces…Atlantis wasn’t the same anymore. She was under new management. I-I left…”
John stared at Rodney in shock. He knew that Rodney loved working at Atlantis and couldn’t imagine him leaving and doing something else.
Rodney shrugged at John. “Atlantis wasn’t the same without you…”

Date: 2010-01-26 06:55 am (UTC)The ultimate retcon
Date: 2010-01-26 11:37 pm (UTC)Jack understood what the crystal represented. A second chance. The ultimate retcon. It was the big red button that would allow him to go back and fix everything.
He could stop the 456 before they ever arrived...
So the hub would be intact...
So Steven would still be alive...
So Ianto would still be alive...
He could fix everything...
Everything except himself...
His memory would be intact no matter what else changed and that weight in his heart would never lift. He would have always sacrificed his own blood without a second thought. He would always have let the love of his life slip though his hands.
Could he ever forgive himself? Could he touch Ianto without feeling the chill of death on the young man’s skin? Could he look into those eyes without seeing them lifeless and flat? Could he love with the memories that no-one else shared...
He wrapped the crystal in cloth, tucking it inside his coat, feeling its sharp edges cut like the shards of his broken heart. The guilt he felt was his to bear and no other should have to feel it. There would be other time, other chances maybe but for now...
He would wait till he could honour Ianto with pride not shame and maybe then...
They could be together forever in the facets of the glass.
