Hi! I’m [livejournal.com profile] brumeier, and this week we’re going to be filling some of my favorite prompt themes, using 100 words or any multiple of 100. Today’s theme is Titles. Your prompts and fills can be any kind of title – movie, song, TV ep, poem, book, or the other kinds of titles like king, duke, and Iron Chef. ::grins::

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!

Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt

Some examples to get the ball rolling...

+ Stargate Atlantis, David Parrish +/ Any, The Last Mrs. Parrish, by Liv Constantine

+ MI5|Spooks, Adam Carter +/ Any, Adam’s Not Sorry (Man With a Plan)

+ Marvel Cinematic Universe, Bucky Barnes +/ Any, I Don’t Know How to Love Him (Sinead O’Connor)

+ Trixie Belden Mysteries, Trixie Belden, being crowned Apple Princess at the harvest festival

We use AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2016 collection. See further notes on this new option here.

Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 1 (not very current), Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 2, or the Calendar Archives, or for more recent prompts, you can use LJ's advanced search options to find prompts to request and/or fill.

While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheets and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

For a moment, Trixie is too stunned to move. Honey and Di squeal, hugging he. The crowd at the harvest fair is applauding enthusiastically.

It’s unreal; how could she possibly be the winner? When she entered the competition for Apple Princess, the last thing she expected was to win--not with her best friends, the two prettiest girls in Sleepyside in the race. Trixie considers herself fairly ordinary--she halfway expects the judges to apologize for the error and name someone else.

Still, she won the apple picking contest handily, and thanks to years helping her mother in the kitchen, she’d been runner-up in peeling and coring…they must have scored that higher than looks. Trixie smiles, dazed, as last year’s winner places the apple blossom wreath atop her sandy curls.

“Thank you!” she says, when the emcee holds a microphone in front of her. “This is such a huge honor!” It’s a little local fair, the ceremonial duties, such as they are are things like riding in holiday parades and being on hand to crown next year’s princess.

And they picked me! she marvels. I can donate the prize money to the Red Cross, they’re having a rough year.

She smiles her way through the picture-taking. It feels like everyone in Westchester is congratulating her. Kids she knows from school, folks from church, a lot of people from Sleepyside Trixie recognizes from her adventures over the years--all of them complimenting her on how pretty she looks and wishing her well.

That’s the best part, better than winning, better than the prize money, even. Realizing how many people she’s helped along the way--that’s the real prize.
