Happy Tuesday, everyone. [livejournal.com profile] morlockiness back for another day of prompting and writing.

Today's theme is Texts From Last Night. Fret not, for the prompts don't have to be taken from that site (they can be texts of your own creation, a scenario where a text would be appropriate, etc), but wouldn't it be more fun if they were? Plenty of opportunity for allowing our favorite characters to party, toke up, complete a walk of shame, and let their friends know in a succinct message.

As always, keep the rules in mind:
+ No more than 5 prompts in a row, and no more than 3 prompts per fandom. If someone answers a prompt, you can prompt again.
+No spoilers in your prompts for at least 1 week after original air/publication date. If there are spoilers in your story, please warn in bold and leave at least 3 spaces.
+For the sake of your monkeys, please format your prompts correctly. For example:

Skins, Sid/Tony, "easter eggs filled with ecstasy. it's what jesus would do."

Crossovers:

Heroes/Star Trek XI, Claire/McCoy, "It's a shame that I don't know his last name. Actually, it's an ever bigger shame that I don't know his first name"

Rhodey can feel the headache forming when his phone first buzzes and he sees that it's Tony. He knows it's the first day of Tony's court-mandated DUI course, and he can only imagine what the text contains. He should just ignore it and finish his paperwork.

Yeah, that lasts about five seconds.

Of course, once he's read the text, he regrets it, and he groans before dropping the phone back to his desk. He isn't even going to dignify that with a response.

Okay, so maybe his willpower holds out a little longer than five seconds this time, but he's still scooping the phone up and sliding the qwerty keyboard out, tapping out a message in return.

Tony, not knowing the brand of a certain type of alcohol is no sign she doesn't belong. She was arrested for driving drunk. Trust me. She belongs.

He sends the message and then dives back into his paperwork, filling out a report on some practice scrimmage or another. He winces as his phone buzzes not even a minute later, and he sighs, staring at it for a few moments before picking it up.

Of course it's a new message from Tony, one that reads: I'm thinking about inviting her back to my place and properly introducing her to patron. y/n?

Rhodey sighs and rubs his temple; his headache's gotten worse. He types a response -- Do you really think that's a good idea? -- and then erases it, knowing full well that Tony does think it's a good idea or he wouldn't have said it. Instead, he sends another message: Just make sure you call her a taxi to get her home.

He snorts, shaking his head and rolling his eyes. Leave it to Tony to pick up a date at a DUI class.

Oh, guys.:) It's like it's no fun for Tony to misbehave if he can't drag Rhodey into it somehow.

Adorable. Love it.
