Hello, everyone. I’m
cornerofmadness As a reminder, we are using a new posting schedule. Sundays are for Lonely Prompts and sharing the fills that you completed during the week, Tuesdays and Thursdays are for new themes and prompts, and Saturdays will remain a Free for All.
Today's theme is Book Titles. It’s been a while since we’ve done this and there are so many great titles out there. The possibilities are limitless. Scour your TBR pile, search your library, go to your comfort reads, there are titles aplenty to spark the muse for new stories to tell.
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and the fandom's full name
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above-mentioned spoiler cut.
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ Hazbin Hotel, Angel Dust + any Who Cries for the Lost ( by C.S. Harris)
+ Prodigal Son, Malcolm Bright + any, Your Blood My bones (by Kelly Andrew)
+ The Owl House, Willow Park + any A Botanist's Guide to Parties and Poisons (by Kate Khavari)
+Helluva Boss, any, Lies on the Serpent's Tongue (by Kate Pearsall)
+ The X-Files, Dana Scully +/ Fox Mulder Bookshops & Bonedust (by Travis Baldree)
We are now using AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2024 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? You can use LJ’s advanced search options to limit keyword results to only comments in this community.
While the use of LJ's advanced search options is available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching in the future.
If you are viewing this post on our Dreamwidth site, please know that fills posted here will not show up as comments on our LiveJournal site but you are still more than welcome to participate.
If you have a Dreamwidth account and would feel more comfortable participating there, please feel free to do so…and spread the word!

Date: 2024-11-05 09:29 pm (UTC)"Sorry," Adam replied. "But a couple will attract less attention that a solitary man. The last thing I wanted was for someone to phone the police and report a strange man loitering out here."
"Okay, I understand that. But why do you need to be out here? It's not the most pleasant of nights."
"A couple of dogs in our neighbourhood had apparently decided to give a half-hearted attempt at howling at the moon, and someone wanted to demonstrate how it should be done. I ended up dragging him indoors and bundling him into the car, with the promise that we'd go somewhere where he could howl safely."
"He seems very quiet at the moment."
"It won't last. He's been exploring all the scents before he starts. Look, there he is!"
They watched as the werewolf sat down in the centre of a small clearing, the moon shining fully on him, lifted his head and gave a loud howl, followed by two more. Then, satisfied with his performance he trotted over to join Adam and Ros.
"I suppose you want your burger now?" Adam said.
The werewolf nodded.
"Yes, I had to promise him a burger as well," Adam explained to Ros.
