Hello, everyone. I’m nagi_schwarz, your host for the week. Today's theme is song lyrics! Prompts can be anything from the lyrics to chart-topping pop songs to the words of an ancient ballad.

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and the fandom's full name
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here. Unfortunately, DW doesn’t have a cut tag, so use your best judgment when it comes to spoilers.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above-mentioned spoiler cut.

Fill: Forever: Henry Morgan

Henry Morgan made his way down the sidewalk, dodging round the crowds who all seemed obsessed by Christmas shopping and taking no notice of anyone who was struggling to make their way through. He knew it was Christmas, but somehow he didn't feel caught up in the atmosphere. And then he turned the corner and spotted Abe's Antiques. His heart leapt as he saw Abe putting up decorations in the window; they were a bit kitsch, but the nostalgia suited the shop and more than that, they were original decorations, ones that he and Abigail had hung up when Abe was young. Suddenly he was hit by the sense that Christmas was indeed coming and there was still plenty to celebrate. He smiled, quickened his pace and hurried to join Abe and help with hanging the last of the decorations.

Aww! This is so sweet! I love that seeing Abe hanging up the old family decorations puts Henry in a better holiday mood. Thank you so much!

Thank you. So often Christmas starts by feeling like so many obligations and then suddenly something sparks and it all changes.

What a lovely little fill. Thank you for sharing! It makes great sense how Henry's sense of Christmas spirit has more to do with his family than just the holiday in general.

Thank you very much. I imagine Christmas has all sorts of memories for Henry, not all pleasant, but family makes it for him.
