Wednesday: Discoveries

Today's theme is Discoveries
It can be one character discovering something about another character, multiple characters discovering something together, be creative. Bonus points for Real Family style discoveries.
 
The Rules:

fill, but with an absence of Abby.

Tim was panicking and finally had a moment of inspiration to find Gibbs. Everyone on the team knew he and Abby knew sign language and with the terrified crying little girl who had been deaf since birth Tim hurried to find Gibbs, this was worth interrupting for.

Leaving Tim to deal with the local officers Gibbs slowed from his run not wanting to scare the girl any more than she already was. He suddenly stopped seeing the girl wipe her eyes with a tissue handed to her by DiNozzo. The girl was watchign Tony's hands confidently reassure her, introduce his self, and explain what was going on. Gibbs watched the two of them talk only using sign language. DiNozzo was full of surprises, but right now seeing him taking care of the kid he couldn't have been prouder. Until he realized he would now have to be careful what he and Abby said to each other and wondering how long Tony had understood what they had said.
