Hello all -  I'm [livejournal.com profile] natural_blue_26 and I'll be guest hosting this week.

As it's the start of the week, let's start at the very beginning (as it's the very best place to start) with kid!fic today. Your favorite characters when they were children, accompanied by children, trapped babysitting, magicked back into children, watching children's television shows... It's all up to you.

Rules:
  • No more than three prompts to a single fandom
  • No more than five prompts at a time
  • No spoilers in the prompts and if your fill has spoilers, please warn and and leave at least three spaces

Be kind to our friendly neighborhood code monkeys and always format your prompts like the following:
  • Fandom, Character, Prompt
  • Fandom, Character/Character, Prompt

Examples:
  • Animorphs, wee!Rachel, playground knight in shining barrettes
  • Firefly/Serenity, Wash/Zoe, he has an updated, rehearsed list of reasons they should throw caution to the wind and have a child now; he never gets a chance to give it to her
  • Avengers, Tony/Pepper, he's still not sure how she roped him into this

If nothing here snags your interests, don't forget to check out the lonely prompts.

No fill, but ...

I keep seeing your prompts for this series, and wishing I could fill them, but I've only read the first two books, and it was a couple of years back. *grins sheepishly* I keep meaning to get my hands on the rest of the series, but no joy so far.

I loved the two books I'd read because Gen is pretty much my ideal trickster-hero, and both Attolia and Eddis (the women, not the countries) were awesome. And the Magus. I had a soft spot for him, especially at the end of the first book, and the start of the second. Heh.

Um. Sorry. Small babble over. *grins sheepishly*

Oh, you have to read the other two. King of Attolia is probably the best in the series, and Conspiracy of Kings is 300 pages of Sophos being simultaneously adorable and badass. I got all four off Barnes & Noble's website for something like six dollars apiece.

*smiles, nods* I know. King, from the blurb, seems to be the Gen I adored from Thief, and the world can always, always use Sophos being badass. *grins faintly* I've bumped them up the 'to buy' list several times. Though now I'll have a look at B&N ...

Yay! :D I hope you can get your hands on them; the fandom could always use more members.
