And here on Friday, the final theme is reincarnation. Your favorite character lived before or will live again, maybe they’ve started remembering their past life…
As ever, the rules are:
*No more than five prompts in a row.
*No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
*No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing. Use a spoiler cut as needed.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space.
Have fun!

MCU/Hansel and Gretel Fill: Out of Step
Date: 2014-09-14 02:55 am (UTC)"You were ahead of your time in weaponry then," Thor said easily, warming to the subject. "You had this one gun..."
"Gun? An actual gun?" Tony demanded. "Isn't this the guy using a paleolithic stick and string?"
Clint swore under his breath. It was just his luck he actually knew someone long-lived enough to have known him in a previous life. "I don't even believe in reincarnation!" he muttered.
Natasha shrugged. "It's just like you to use the unexpected weapon."
"Thank you," he retorted to the room, still not sure if it was entirely a compliment but taking it as one anyway.
"I would have said 'out of step,'" Tony teased.
Clint aimed his pen and fired.
"So," Thor interrupted Tony's protestations of grievous injury. "Your aim was quite as good then. There was this one gun..."
Natasha giggled and Clint leaned his head back on his chair. He would never live this down. Never.

FILLED: Supernatural, 100 words on proper recycling
Date: 2014-09-05 05:01 pm (UTC)Its companion piece upstairs, of course, was a golden pool, filled with fragrant water.
He snorted, rolled up his sleeve, gripped a random soul and sent it into a newborn.
It was simple, really. He sent the baddies to lead one miserable life of atonement. If they did well, they went upstairs and their next life was all glitter and glee.
And the special ones, well, they were his pets.
Crowley smiled. Well, maybe this one would grow up to be special.
He could but hope.

"...Livia?"
"Gaius," she says, tongue feeling like lead in her mouth. And then quickly shakes the mist from her head, straightens her shoulders and gives the slight smile that she's ruled her school with for at least six years, "It's Olivia, now. Olivia Claude. And you are...?"
"Gus," he murmurs, blinking rapidly - and then gives a wry grin of his own, bends down to retrieve his books in a few neat movements, "Angus Julien III, to be as exact as you."
"III?" Her smile grows, broadens; takes on something of the wolf always waiting inside, "my, you do come from a distinguished family. Should I curtsy or something? Bow my head and tip my cap and acknowledge you as my superior?"
"Like you ever did that," Gaius- Gus snorts, shakes his head - straightens and offers her an elbow with that smoothness that only he's ever been able to manage, "come, we should catch up. Have anywhere you need to be in the next hour or so?"
"I was thinking of going to a few talks, but they're irrelevant really," she grins, and slips her arm through his - linking them together, as neatly as they ever were, "I spotted a Costa down the road, if you're interested?"
"You read my mind, Olivia."
"I always do, Gus."

Date: 2014-09-05 05:26 pm (UTC)The black clad man pointed the soulless ones out, one by one, as their images appeared in the time vortex.
“This one. Turned serial killer. Should have invented that energy thing, you know, the one that was blue and went zzzing? That one there died of an overdose aged 15. This one…”
“No more, Doctor, please.”
He turned towards the lean, gray-haired man.
“Take me to the place you were telling me about. The monastery, where I won’t die again until it is time to truly leave this body behind. Do it NOW.”

Date: 2014-09-05 06:53 am (UTC)FILLED: Ad infinitum, ad nauseam - Sherlock Holmes/John Watson
Date: 2014-09-05 10:50 am (UTC)His for sure was showing signs of wear and tear. Possibly drug-induced, of course. His mind was starting to spit out random facts he should not officially be privy to. Facts from the lives he had led before. Dangerous facts at times. Old, long forgotten secrets, which still had the power to topple governments and start wars.
John was starting to look at him strangely and Mycroft had had that pinched, constipated look he always got when he suspected foul play. While John had developed a keen interest in textbooks on mental disorders, brother dear had let loose the dogs of MI5 on one particular little thing Sherlock had said about the Queen.
Admittedly, his behaviour was getting more and more erratic. He had woken up last night, jumping into action, looking for his musket, yelling for reinforcements. In French.
Only minutes ago, he had thought he’d heard a flower girl offering him violets for a ha’penny. And last week, to Mrs. Hudson's eternal mortification, he had wrapped a fur rug around his otherwise naked person and had run out into Baker Street, brandishing a baseball bat, looking for deer.
He should lay off the drugs, really, but in this life, he didn’t seem to be able to make a proper connection at all. And without the person which complemented him, he was lost, plain and simple.
It had all started before the wedding, naturally. The drugs, the confusion, the pain, all related to the fact that he could not be with the person he was destined to be with.
Tedious thing, reincarnation. While some things were all new and confusing, other things never changed.
Sherlock Holmes needed John Watson. And if he couldn’t have him, he might as well go to hell.
Or rather, give it another try next time around.
