Merry morningmas! I’m
doreyg and today's theme is green (have you noticed that I'm going for a bit of a theme this week?). Prompts can be anything relating to the colour green: be it green as grass, green with envy or even a character actually being green. As long as there's green somewhere in your prompt, you'll be good!
Rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
If your prompt or fill contains anything that can be a trigger for the reader, please add a warning for that to give the reader the chance to decide if they want to read or not. This basically follows the AO3 warning system (graphic violence, character death non-con, underage), with any extra warnings left to the discretion of the author.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing. Use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Time for some examples!:
+ Justice League Cartoon, Martian Manhunter +/ Any, it's not easy being green
+ The Flash (TV), Barry Allen +/ Any, in the green grass
+ MCU, Loki +/ Tony Stark, green with envy
We are now using AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2015 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out the just created Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet. For more recent prompts to write, you can also use LJ’s advanced search options to limit keyword results to only comments in this community. Another option is the new LJ archive of prompts that we've been working on, which can be found here.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Date: 2015-12-23 09:44 pm (UTC)The moment Maria opens the door to him, Rhodey knows that he's in for a long night. Her hair is teased up into some complicated coiffure that's going to be teasing him all night; even now, his fingers itch to take it down, run through it. Her eyes are dark and smokey, lit with mischief and seduction. And the dress... Rhodey looks her up and down and swallows hard.
(That's not all that's hard but he's trying not to think about that.)
The dress is deep green and form-fitting, halter necked and falling to just above her knee. When she spins on one heel, walks away from him to grab her purse, there's a sway in her hips that he's sure isn't usually there and he can see the tag of the zipper at the back of her dress, glinting silver in the dim light of the room.
(Suddenly her hair's not the only thing teasing him.)
Purse in hand, she turns to face him, raises one eyebrow in something that almost looks like a challenge. "See something you like?" she asks and her words galvanise him into action.
"No," he says and she frowns slightly. He takes advantage of her confusion to step inside, close the door firmly behind in. In a couple of steps he is in front of her, one hand finding her hip, the other finding her purse and dropping it on the floor. "I'm not sure that green is your colour."
"Oh really?" Now her tone, her look, definitely contains a challenge but she's smiling as he slides both hands around her waist, pulling her close again him, close enough that she can feel the effect she's having on him.
"Really. In fact..." His fingers find the tag of the zipper and he gives into temptation. "I think we should take it off. Right now."
Her lips are still curved in a smile as he fits his lips over them. The dress hits the floor seconds later and they completely miss their dinner reservation.
Frankly, Rhodey doesn't give a damn.

Date: 2015-05-27 05:34 pm (UTC)"Good morning," he says, voice husky even to his own ears and Caitlin lifts her head long enough to reply in kind beogre returning to her task. Joe closes his eyes at the sensation of her lips and tongue against his skin, a smile coming to his face. He only opens his eyes when she reaches his hips and shows no sign of stopping. "Get up here," he says, running a hand over her hair. "Say good morning properly."
Those green eyes meet his again and she bites her lip as she shakes her head, makes a "nuh-uh" noise. The ends of her hair tickle the skin underneath his belly button and he can't help himself; his hips buck up off the bed of their own accord.
"Trust me, Joe," she says in a voice laced with promise, her eyes sparkling with mischief, "I intend to say good morning properly." With that, she lowers her head, closes her mouth over him and he groans as his hands tangle in her hair.
It's a very good morning, and later, when he returns the favour, it's even better.

Date: 2015-05-27 11:07 am (UTC)MCU, Wanda Maximoff/Lady Sif – “Green Tea”
Date: 2016-07-28 09:40 am (UTC)Wanda turned her head towards the door to see Lady Sif standing there. She didn't expect anyone to find her since she assumed the party organized by Tony was keeping people busy enough, but apparently she was wrong.
It had taken her some time to convince Tony that she really was not in the mood for any celebration, but she did appreciate him saying that she was welcome to join them if she changed her mind.
She was sitting on a large sofa in one of the less used common rooms, enjoying the sight of the city at night. There was something calming about the countless colorful lights flickering everywhere, and she had to admit, in this moment she was glad she had accepted Tony's offer to move into the Tower.
When she realized that Lady Sif was still looking at her, waiting for an answers, Wanda sighed, smiling at her.
“Hi.”
“I have not seen you downstairs and I was informed you would be here. Am I interrupting?”
“No, don’t worry. I’m just not in the mood to party tonight,” Wanda said, wrapping her arms around her knees. “Did you need something?”
“The Lady Pepper told me you enjoy green tea,” she entered the room, holding a cup of hot liquid in one hand. When Wanda didn’t answer for a while, Lady Sif looked at the cup briefly. “Was she mistaken?”
“No, green tea is my favorite, actually,” Wanda combed back her hair with her fingers. “I just didn’t expect you to come here to bring me some.”
“Why?” Lady Sif tilted her head slightly, making Wanda look down at her hands.
“I’m… not sure, actually,” she admitted, not knowing what else to say. “I’m sorry.”
“Do not be,” the warrior stepped closer to the couch, slowly but with confidence, and sat down, close enough that Wanda could touch her if she wanted, but still giving her space.
Wrapping her hands around the cup Lady Sif handed her, Wanda looked up at the other woman when their fingers touched. The warrior’s skin was warm from holding the cup of hot tea for so long, and when those warm fingers briefly caressed hers before Lady Sif let go, Wanda lowered her eyes again.
“I hope it is good. The device for cooking I have found here was different than the one the Lady Darcy has introduced me to earlier.”
Wanda smiled gently as she took a sip of the tea, closing her eyes and sighing quietly at the rich taste of the blend she hadn’t had a chance to try before. It was sweeter than she was used to, but still delicious.
Opening her eyes, she saw that Lady Sif was still watching her. “It’s very good. Thank you,” she said, wrapping her fingers tighter around the cup.
Lady Sif nodded, satisfied, before standing up. “I am glad. Enjoy your evening, Lady Wanda.”
Right before the other woman left the room, Wanda ran her fingers through her hair again. “You could… stay here, if you want,” she said quietly, making the warrior turn her head.
“Are you certain? I do not wish to disturb you further.”
“I’m sure.”
“I would be honored to keep you company, then.”
Wanda nodded, looking down at her cup again. The night was beautiful, and she let herself enjoy Lady Sif’s comforting presence as they quietly watched the lights flicker in the distance.

Date: 2015-05-27 12:14 pm (UTC)Fill 1/2 Gen, but for one swear word, not sure it's what you had in mind, but...
Date: 2015-05-27 01:27 pm (UTC)As it happened, the nearest place with room to hide was in the playground, which looked deserted. She climbed the ladder and crossed the chain-and-log bridge that led to the fort/playhouse and ducked inside, keeping an eye out behind her in case she needed to flee her hiding place. So intent was she on watching her rear for attack that she tripped on a little girl who was curled up on the floor sniffling.
"Oof! Oh, I'm sorry, honey, are you okay?" Darcy aksed warily, unsure if the girl's tears were from getting walked on by a grown-up (not that she *was* a grown-up, but she was adult sized) or if she had already been crying and Darcy hadn't noticed. The little girl shook her head.
"Is your Mom in the Park?"
Again the girl shook her head.
"Why are you alone?" Darcy supposed a direct question might get a verbal answer.
"Danny and Billy ran away with everybody else. They f-f-forgot me!"
"Are Danny and Billy your brothers?"
"Danny is. Billy's his friend. I didn't know what the noise was and I was having a good game of House in here. Then it went real quiet and I looked out and nobody was left except m-m-me!" The girl finished on a fresh burst of tears.
So the whole Park got evacuated, and we're on our own until Steve and Tasha get Hulk calmed down. I can handle that. Tasha just needs to give him a Lullabye, it'll just take a while for them to find him, Darcy's thoughts raced.
"It's okay, honey. My name is Darcy. Um. I'm not so great around kids, but you're going to be my new friend, 'kay?" Darcy patted the girl awkwardly on the shoulder.
"'kay," the girl said in a tiny voice.
Darcy dug around in her purse and found some candy she had been saving for the subway ride.
"You want some candy, honey?"
A grubby hand was held out instantly. "Yes please."
"Here you go. Do you know why everyone was evacu- why everyone left?"
"Nuh-uh."
"A friend of mine has a little problem that can turn into a big problem, but my other friends are working on fixing it right now. We'll be out of here in no time."
In the distance, Darcy heard trees swishing in the wind. Thats funny, it's usually really sheltered in the Park, you can't really feel the wi- uh-oh.
"Hon, you'd know this playground better than I do. Are there any play tunnels, or other forts that are low down?"
"Nuh-uh."
Outside, a massive rock, big enough that people often picnicked on it, hit the see-saw, demolishing it.
"SHIT! Uh, honey, you didn't hear that word from me. I'm going outside for a sec, okay? MY boyfriend'll kill me if he thinks I cursed in front of a child."
The little girl nodded, but looked ready to cry again, so Darcy handed her her Starkphone with Angry Birds on it. Darcy looked around the fort for alternative exits to the bridge she had crossed, and saw a fireman's pole in the opposite corner. I gotta bring Steve here after dark and show him my pole-fitness skills, sometime, she thought as she grabbed it and slid down.
She just made it to the gravel when the tree-line parted and Hulk appeared, looking for more things to uproot and smash. Darcy sent a quick prayer up to any gods that might be listening and ran towards him.
"BRUCE! Bruce there's a little kid here! Bruce, you gotta calm down! Seriously, it's me! I wouldn't lie to you, you're going to hurt a little girl - and me - and you'll hate yourself!" Darcy shouted, repeating it like a mantra at the top of her voice.
THe Hulk heard her, and stopped, head whipping around to see where the noise was coming from. Darcy quailed inside, and shouted again. "It's me! Steve's girlfriend! Calm down, man, this destruction of a kids' playground is not cool!"

Dark Fill. Character death, Child Death.
Date: 2015-05-27 08:33 pm (UTC)The Messrs Weasley quickly gathered their children and took them to the relative safety of the rebuilt Burrow, layering in new traps, curses and protections under the direction of the youngest. Their spouses put out the call to old comrades in arms that their help was needed once more.
The message to Professor Longbottom missed him by moments. He'd been packing and putting his things in order from the moment he'd seen that morning's paper and he was off to pick up Ms Scamander and her Menagerie of seemingly innocuous animals.
Most would have given the whole mess a bit of a side eye but Proffessor Longbottom only grins at her as his pet Devil's Snare creeps a sneaky tendril out of his bag and under his shirt. It takes Ms. Scamander less then a minute to tie the whole thing to the back of Proffessor Longbottom's broom, but that's long enough for her husband to come running out of the house with soot in his hair, waving a message with meet-up coordinates on it.
Messrs Thomas and Dean are awoken on their honeymoon by the crash of a familiar tiny owl taking out their fruit bowl in the front room. They waste no time once they read the message tied to it's ankle.
Few are surprised when Mr. Malfoy shows up. It is a bit of unacknowledged common knowledge that Mr. Malfoy owes Mr. Potter a debt, though the exact details of the circumstances are unclear, and that debt is anathema to the Malfoy name.
There is probably close to a hundred witches and wizards gathered when Mr. R. Weasley steps forward and begins divvying up the country for people to search, sending some on errands that embrace their special talents. It is less than two hours from the time the call went out to the time they take to the sky to search.
The Patil Twins, now Mrs Singh and Mrs. Escobar, are the first to come across the destruction. A house that appeared crushed with not a single blade of grass in the surrounding lawn so much as bent. The only parts of the corpses that will later be pulled from the wreckage that haven't been crushed beyond recognition will be the faces.
All across the U.K. houses are found destroyed, their inhabitants tortured and mangled nearly beyond identification. All except the few children found safely under sleep spells at the far edges of the lawns.
It is Mr. Malfoy and Mr. G. Weasley who finally find Mr. Potter. Who come towards him from the left as he stands over one last quivering pile of flesh.
"Sectum Sempra." His voice is hoarse and his eyes are a deep, pitiless green as the person before him bleeds out.
Mr. Malfoy is the one who distracts him and Mr. Weasley the one who knocks him out but both of them shiver in fear as the look of deep hate fails to clear from his face even in sleep.
There is an instinctive sense of knowing in the hearts of all who lay eyes upon Mr. Potter that if he is ever released from his imprisonment that he will find and kill any who escaped his first punishment of those who were behind the murder of his family.
