Medieval society dictated that a princess, if captured by a dragon and locked away in a tower, should be rescued by a knight or a prince, and she just had enough of it. She was going to escape from the tower by herself. She may not have the physical strength of a man, but, when it came to wit and resourcefulness, she was just as clever as the best of them.

The dragon was fast asleep; now was her chance to shape her own destiny.


Not related to the above, but I think this prompt really suits Mulan, but, alas, her story isn't what one would normally consider a fairy tale. . . .
