Tuesday - Seven Deadly Sins

Hi folks. trinityday again, your guest host for this week. And today our theme is the seven deadly sins.

Lust (or extravagance). Gluttony. Greed. Sloth (or despair). Wrath. Envy. Pride (or vainglory).

For the sake of our code monkeys, please remember not to go crazy and to limit yourself to 5 prompts in a row, with only 3 of those in the same fandom. If your original prompts get answered, then feel free to leave some more later in the day.

Spoilers are not allowed in your prompts until a week (7 days) has passed from the original air date. If there are spoilers in your fic, warn people by bolding and leaving at least 3 spaces.

Also, please thank your fic provider. Not only is it the nice thing to do, but it often helps encourage them to write even more.

Marvel, Clint Barton/Kate Bishop/Bucky Barnes, pregnancy is a perfectly legitimate excuse to enjoy gluttony.

Kate woke up with a groan. The air conditioning wasn't nearly strong enough, her back was killing her, and there were supposed to be two strong, gorgeous men wrapped around her at night. But neither of them were anywhere to be seen at the moment.

She sat up at the side of the bed, stroking her swollen belly. It was hard to believe it was only a month till her due date. She couldn't wait to be a mother - and she also couldn't wait to not be pregnant anymore! She wasn't used to having to be so careful when she did anything, and she definitely missed being in the field with her boys. Who were still missing, just when she could have used some snuggling. Well, if they weren't around, some ice cream would do in a pinch.

As she walked towards the kitchen, she heard some rustling. She could feel her heart start to beat faster in her chest. No one knew that three superheroes lived there. Any burglar could just randomly pick the place. She ducked back and picked up her bow. She might not have been able to flip around as gracefully as normal, but she could still plant an arrow in an unlucky robber's shoulder.

As she got closer, she heard whispering. More than one voice.

"Eat more quietly! You'll wake her up!"

"Nah, she was sleeping like a log, Buck. Relax."

Kate turned the corner. "I thought I was supposed to be the one who was eating for two here."

Bucky and Clint looked up from their pint of Ben and Jerry's with matching sheepish, chocolate-smeared grins.

"Hey, Kate. There's still some left?"

"We were going to replace it before you woke up." Bucky added guiltily.

Kate giggled as she sat down between her boys, playfully knocking their heads together. "It's okay. I know the lure of Chunky Monkey at 3 AM. But if either of you touch my brownie bites, you're sleeping on the couch till the baby's here!"

"Noted." came the reply in unison as the three of them went back to polishing off the pint.

Ahaha. That is my favorite part. Because of course, Kate would not allow being pregnant to interfere in her ability to kick a burglar's ass. ;)

And also, Clint and Bucky are cute with their 3 A.M. ice cream raid. *grins.*
