Hi folks.
trinityday again, your guest host for this week. And today our theme is the seven deadly sins.
Lust (or extravagance). Gluttony. Greed. Sloth (or despair). Wrath. Envy. Pride (or vainglory).
For the sake of our code monkeys, please remember not to go crazy and to limit yourself to 5 prompts in a row, with only 3 of those in the same fandom. If your original prompts get answered, then feel free to leave some more later in the day.
Spoilers are not allowed in your prompts until a week (7 days) has passed from the original air date. If there are spoilers in your fic, warn people by bolding and leaving at least 3 spaces.
Also, please thank your fic provider. Not only is it the nice thing to do, but it often helps encourage them to write even more.
Please make sure you format your prompts correctly, the last being for crossovers:
Veronica Mars, Veronica/Lilly, lust for life
Dark Angel, Max/Alec, too vain and boastful for her taste
Pirates of the Caribbean/Doctor Who, Jack/Christina, envious of the other's freedom
If none of today's prompts catch your eye, check out the Lonely Prompts over at delicious.

Date: 2009-12-08 10:35 pm (UTC)He tried to think back to the legends he'd heard about the hydra. He hadn't thought they would actually ever play a role, but that was the kind of thing that happened when you were dating a demigoddess. He knew you couldn't cut off its head or two more would grow back - apparently that had been tried by someone, and it didn't work too well.
As the blood trickled down his cheek it occured to him - what if you crushed all the heads at once?
One particularly strong TTK blast and an avalanche later, the hydra seemed to be dead. For now. He flew down to where he'd seen the Hydra slam Cassie into the cliff wall, and began digging up the rubble.
"Cassie! Babe, yell if you hear me!" There was no response. He thought back to the crisis, and knew exactly how terrified she must have been when she lost him.
"Nnn...Kon?"
Kon saw a flash of blonde hair under the rubble, quickly lifted the rest of it, and helped Cassie out. She seemed mostly okay, but her leg was pinned under a particularly large boulder. Using his TTK, he lifted it off and picked her up in his arms.
"Geez, you had me so scared." Kon leaned in and gave Cassie a passionate kiss. "You okay?"
"Think my leg's broken." Cassie groaned. "But otherwise I'll live." She reached up and touched the nasty gash alongside his face. "Oh, man. Your face."
"It's nothing. Just a scratch."
As Kon held her tightly in his arms, Cassie looked at his face. It would likely heal without a mark, but it was pretty gruesome right now. Still, he had never looked more handsome to her. Those who said Kon only cared about his looks didn't know him well enough.
